KLEZMER

The Maxwell Street Klezmer Band has been delighting audiences of all ages since 1983 with their high-energy big band performances that glow with warmth and humor. They have performed on stages across American and Europe, at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, on National Public Radio and Television, and with Peter Yarrow, Theodore Bikel, and Debbie Friedman. The band is comprised of two vocalists and clarinet, saxophone, violin, trumpet, trombone, keyboard, string bass and drums. Smaller ensembles are available for certain events. They are available for Jewish weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, private parties etc.
